Our Setting

HETTY Preschool

HETTY Preschool is a bright, welcoming and inclusive setting for children from the age of two until they start school. Children learn together in mixed-age groups, giving them opportunities to build friendships, learn from one another and develop confidence in a caring community.

Our open-plan, free-flow environment allows children to move freely between the different learning areas, following their interests and making independent choices. The outdoor area is available throughout the day in almost all weather conditions—our children particularly love putting on their waterproofs and exploring in the rain!

Every child is supported by a named key person who gets to know their individual personality, routines, interests and needs. In line with our Key Person Policy, they provide a familiar point of contact for families and help children feel safe, secure and ready to learn.
