An afternoon session at HETTY usually goes a bit like this:
| 12.25 pm | Welcome and free play |
| 12.45 pm | “Say hello” time – Key Worker’s group time |
| 1.00 – 2.50 pm | Child initiated activities – inside and outside |
| 2.00 pm | Key groups take it in turns to snack in a smaller room while activities carry on in the rest of the setting |
| 2.50 pm | Tidy up time |
| 3.00 pm | All together story or song time |
| 3.15 pm | Coats to go home |
| 3.25 pm | Home time |
